Order fulfilment
We share the customer and delivery details needed to produce and dispatch your order with Gelato, our print-production and fulfilment provider. Shopify and other service providers also process information to operate the store, process payments and provide the services described in our Privacy Policy.
Our legal grounds for using personal information
For UK and EEA customers, we use personal information where necessary to fulfil our contract with you, including processing orders, arranging payment and delivery, and handling contractual returns. We also use information to comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting requirements.
Where applicable, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, securing the store, preventing fraud and handling disputes, taking account of your rights and interests. Where consent is required, including for non-essential cookies and relevant marketing activities, consent is the legal basis and can be withdrawn. The choices and protections described in our main Privacy Policy also apply.
How long information is kept
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including order fulfilment, customer support, legal obligations and resolving disputes. Records needed for UK sole-trader tax purposes must normally be kept for at least five years after the relevant 31 January tax-return submission deadline. This tax-record requirement does not mean every piece of browsing, marketing or customer-support data must be kept for the same period.
We determine other retention periods by considering whether an enquiry or dispute is still open, whether the information is needed to provide an ongoing service, applicable legal requirements and whether there is a continuing justified need to retain it.
